The government has launched a statutory consultation on Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire – see here and here where you will find more information and a link to Share Your Views via the Government website.
The consultation is open now until 26th March.
It is important that as many people as possible respond to ensure that a wide range of views are taken into account to inform the final decision on the various proposals that have been put forward.
Broxtowe do not support any of the options and have called for a pause in the LGR process for it to be considered more fully. However, this is not included in the consultation, but if you share the same view, then it should be possible to include it in your response.
