Some of you may have received an email from Broxtowe Borough Council regarding Broxtowe’s plan to prepare a new Local Plan (follow this link to see the text). The Local Plan is the next phase of the Planning Cycle and will help to determine where new homes, employment etc. will be located across the borough. It will replace the existing Local Plan which was adopted in 2019 and runs until 2028.
The Scoping Consultation runs until 20th October at 5:00pm.
The Neighbourhood Forum will be submitting a response concentrating on our views for the Neighbourhood Area (the Wards of Toton & Chilwell Meadows and Chilwell West, but it is important that you give your opinions as well.
We have listed the questions in the Scoping Document below so that you can see the breadth of questions they are asking our opinion on but to get the full context you will need to read the Scoping Document (some 35 pages). You don’t have to answer all the questions, so concentrate on the ones that are important to you.
The easiest way to respond is probably by completing the Response Form and emailing it to Broxtowe (policy@broxtowe.gov.uk) as stated in the email but if you would copy your response to us at assist.cttcnf@gmail.com we will try to produce a summary of responses on our website.
