The draft agenda for the Forum AGM and Open meeting with Chetwynd CIC is now available here and on the website AGM page. It is subject to change, so please keep checking back to the website for updates. We will of course also update you via these posts.
As a further reminder (see also our earlier post), the meeting will be held at 7pm on Thursday 9th July 2026 at Toton Methodist Church, Stapleford Lane, Toton NG9 6GA – please add the date to your diaries.
We will aim to complete the formal part of the meeting (page 1 of the agenda) in under an hour, leaving the rest of the time for the open meeting (page 2 of the agenda).
To speed up registration at the meeting, we would like you to pre-register beforehand by 6pm 8th July 2026. Registration will still be possible at the meeting, but we would like to keep this to the minimum please. Please complete a separate Registration Form for each person attending.
The Forum needs new members for the Steering Group, if you would like to volunteer and join the Steering Group, please complete this Nomination Form.The deadline to receive nominations for membership of the Steering Group is 6pm 2nd July 2026.
A separate AGM Voting Form will be made available once nominations for the Steering Group have closed.
Registering and voting in advance speeds up the process on the night and allows us to check eligibility in advance. N.B. Non-members of the Forum may attend the AGM and open meeting discussion, but are not entitled to vote.

Toton ‘West’ Planning Application 25/00371/OUT
Further to last week’s post the agenda for the Planning Committee meeting next Wednesday 1st July has been published – see here.
It is only in fact the outline application (25/00371/OUT) that will be considered at this stage, and not the hybrid one (25/00928/FUL). If you made representations to Broxtowe during the two consultations on this application, then you should have received a letter inviting you to speak at the meeting. If you do wish to speak, then you only have until noon this coming Monday 29th June to register to do so. There is no guarantee and it would appear to be a lottery as to who will be chosen to speak! Nevertheless, members of the Steering Group have registered, but can only speak as individuals and not on behalf of the Forum, which is madness! We will have to see what transpires after the deadline.
